In the last few years our school has attracted children from around our catchment area resulting in an increase of the school roll. The roll numbers are between 90 to 110. We are proud of our school vision as it shapes our philosophy to live and learn in an environment of care, share and dare; "Walk the Talk". We are proud that our school caters for all children and we do all we can to provide a supportive learning environment for every child.

Children are encouraged to play a role in the direction and decision making of key aspects of the school. This spans school assemblies, environmental group projects and fundraising. The school’s Kia Kaha philosophy supports children in managing their own behaviour - and embracing caring and sharing.

We favour a ‘No Blame’ approach to dealing with inappropriate behaviour, with a restorative approach to restore relationships where the concensus solution is agreed to by both parties and the staff provide support for everyone involved in an issue. The process is stunningly successful.

The school embraces the rich cultural identity of the area with a focus to connect and identify with the school community.
